Sub-Zero 7042798 Air Filter 3-Pack, Replacement 7007067 Air Purification Cartridge

Looking for a Sub-Zero 7042798 three-pack? This replacement cartridge set contains three air purification cartridges for compatible Sub-Zero refrigerators equipped with the factory-installed air purification system. Choosing a three-pack lets you keep additional replacement cartridges on hand for future maintenance.

The 7042798 cartridge is designed to work with Sub-Zero's air purification system, which helps manage ethylene gas released by fresh produce and unwanted refrigerator odors. It replaces the earlier part number 7007067, according to Sub-Zero's official support information.

Before purchasing, confirm that your refrigerator uses this cartridge. The 7042798 is an air purification component not a refrigerator water filter, and it will not fit every Sub-Zero appliance.

Why Choose a Three-Pack?

Keep Replacements Available

Having extra cartridges available can make routine maintenance easier when the refrigerator signals that a replacement is due.

Support the Built-In Air Purification System

The cartridge works as part of the refrigerator's air purification system, which helps manage ethylene gas and odors within the refrigerator compartment.

A Practical Multi-Pack Option

A three-pack supplies three cartridges in one purchase. Each cartridge is replaced separately when required; the pack size does not change the recommended replacement interval for an individual cartridge.

Compatibility Guide

The Sub-Zero 7042798 air purification cartridge is used in compatible models from the following series when the air purification system is present:

Series	Compatibility notes
Classic (BI and CL)	Compatible models equipped with air purification
Designer (IC, IT, DET and DEC)	Compatible models equipped with air purification
Designer Drawer	ID-30RP and ID-36RP only
PRO	PRO3650 and PRO4850

Please verify before ordering: Sub-Zero's 200/300, 500, 600, and 700 Series models do not have this air purification system. Designer drawer models ID-30R and ID-36R also do not include it. Check the model number, existing cartridge, and owner’s manual to confirm the correct part.

7042798 vs. 7007067

Sub-Zero lists 7042798 as the direct replacement for 7007067. If your existing cartridge or documentation shows 7007067, then 7042798 is the current replacement identified by the manufacturer. Confirm compatibility with your specific refrigerator before purchasing.

Replacement Timing and Installation

Sub-Zero states that the air purification cartridge lasts approximately one year. Replace it when the air purification indicator begins flashing or when the model-specific maintenance instructions call for replacement.

Installation steps vary by refrigerator model. On models with a removable cartridge cover, the process generally involves opening the compartment, removing the used cartridge, installing the replacement with its connector pointing downward, and closing the cover. Follow your appliance's instructions and reset the indicator if required.
