Sub-Zero 7042798 Air Purification Cartridge, Replaces 7007067

Maintain your refrigerator's air purification system with the Sub-Zero 7042798 Air Purification Cartridge. Designed for select Sub-Zero refrigerators with built-in air purification, this replacement cartridge helps manage ethylene gas and unwanted odors inside the refrigerator. The system is designed to treat interior air at regular intervals, supporting the storage environment intended for fresh food.

The Sub-Zero 7042798 replaces the previous part number 7007067, making it a useful replacement option for owners identifying their filter by an older part number. It is intended for compatible Classic and Designer refrigerators, as well as select Sub-Zero PRO models. Compatibility depends on the refrigerator's specific model and installed air purification system, so check your appliance details before placing an order.

The cartridge is designed for up to one year of use. Your refrigerator's air purification indicator and maintenance instructions can help determine when to replace it. Installing the correct cartridge at the recommended interval helps maintain the intended operation of the built-in air purification system.

If you are looking for a Sub-Zero 7042798 replacement cartridge or searching for a replacement for 7007067, verify the part number against your refrigerator's model and serial number. This filter is intended for air purification, not drinking water or ice filtration.

Special Features

Helps Maintain Refrigerator Air Quality

The Sub-Zero 7042798 cartridge works with the refrigerator's built-in air purification system to help manage ethylene gas and unwanted odors. This can support the storage conditions intended for fresh produce and other refrigerated foods. Results depend on the appliance, its operating conditions, and proper filter maintenance.

Replacement for the Earlier 7007067 Cartridge

The 7042798 is the replacement part number for the older Sub-Zero 7007067 air purification cartridge. This relationship is useful when looking for a replacement using the number printed on an existing cartridge or listed in older appliance documentation. Always verify compatibility before purchasing.

Designed for Select Sub-Zero Refrigerators

This cartridge is made for compatible Sub-Zero refrigerators that include the built-in air purification system. Eligible appliances include select models from the Classic, Designer, and PRO families. Refrigerator series alone may not confirm compatibility, so check the exact model and serial number.

Up to One Year of Service

The cartridge is designed for use for up to one year. Sub-Zero's maintenance guidance and the air purification indicator help determine when replacement is needed. Replace the cartridge as directed rather than assuming that every refrigerator will have the same service interval.

Supports Regular Appliance Maintenance

Changing the air purification cartridge at the recommended time helps maintain the refrigerator's intended system performance. Follow the instructions for your specific appliance when removing the old cartridge, installing the replacement, and resetting the indicator.

Compatibility and Part Number Information

The Sub-Zero 7042798 air purification cartridge is intended for select refrigerators equipped with the appropriate air purification system.

• Current Part Number: 7042798
• Previous Part Number: 7007067
• Refrigerator Families: Select Classic, Designer, and PRO models
• Application: Built-in air purification system
• Compatibility Requirement: Confirm the appliance model and serial number

Not every Sub-Zero refrigerator uses an air purification cartridge. Some older refrigerator series, undercounter appliances, wine storage units, and freezer units use different configurations or do not support this cartridge. Do not rely on appearance or refrigerator brand alone when selecting a replacement.
